Qualification to Register a horse 

 

  • Thoroughbred and Quarter horse crosses of any percentage.
  • You may dual register your horse that is a coded appendix with the American Quarter Horse   Association.  
  • You may dual register a horse that is in the American Paint Horse Association, if the horse has Thoroughbred in its            pedigree.
  • You may register your horse that is in the Sport Horse Association, if that horse has papered sire and dam with either the Quarter horse or Jockey Club associations.
  • You may register a breeding stock paint, if the horse has Thoroughbred and Quarter horse on its pedigree. This is not a color breed.
  • You may register Quarter horses that have ROM, if pedigree shows Thoroughbred bloodlines.
  • You may register your horse if your horse is in a half breed registry, Buckskin Horse registry and is Thoroughbred and Quarter horse cross.
  • Any age Appendix horse may be registered.
  • Tattoo search is available to help locate appendix coded quarter horses that have been sold without paper, so you may register into the American Appendix Horse Association.  See Tattoo Search page for more information and fees.
